Spring Gins

The clocks have been pushed forward, the days are getting longer, and the sun is peeking out from behind the ubiquitous British rain cloud.
That can only mean one thing… Spring is in the air.

Spring – a time for hope, rejuvenation, renewal, and most of all refreshment.

And what can be more refreshing than a lazy afternoon, relaxing in the spring breeze with an exhilarating snifter of Gin?
Gin is so much more than alcohol flavoured with juniper. Behind that simple façade lies one of the world’s most complex and best-loved spirits, with a history that spans hundreds of years.
Some of the world’s most famous and favourite cocktails are created with gin as their base, or one of their main ingredients.
The Martini, a suave and sophisticated, Bondesque style drink, described by famous American author E.B. White as “the elixir of quietude,” is made with gin and vermouth and usually garnished with an olive.
The Gin and Tonic, a zesty drink, poured in a tall glass over ice and served with a wedge of lime or lemon is the quintessential summer drink to enjoy at a barbeque or picnic.
Or take the Gimlet, a simple, yet popular cocktail using gin and lime juice, has a rich naval history. The simplicity of this invigorating drink has no bearing on its intense flavours. It is easy to create at home after a hard days’ work or to demonstrate your bartending skills with friends.
No matter what the occasion, or your mood, you can never go far wrong, with a revitalizing bottle of gin.
And now, with Spring extending its social invitation, is the perfect time to try our new range of Gins.
